Teach Your Child To Maintain Focus While Learning

Assalamualaikum and Bismillahirrahmanirrahim .. Children can not learn if they lose focus. Of course it becomes a Herculean task for parents and teachers to attract and retain the focus child. Moreover, at a young age, the child may more easily distract. Here are some tips on how we can help keep your child while doing the learning activities.

1. Plan learning activities that fast and short

It is unreasonable to expect children aged 5 to 6 years to give full attention to one activity over a long time. It should be short and focused.

Natural children, aged 7 years, should do the learning activities within 20 minutes.

While children from 8 to 9 years are in the range of 30 to 40 minutes.

This information is based on cognitive psychology research, and fundamental to the success of the children at the age of awl around the world.

We must understand that the minds of children are designed to find information and new experiences. This means that they are too hungry to be exposed to exciting new knowledge.

But this is a challenge to the parents if they get bored quickly learn that if asked to repeat something over and over again. Therefore need to find the initiative to shorten the learning period to be shorter.

Children's learning session may include reading, drawing, calculating, etc., within 1 to 2 hours but still a simple method.

Parents need to focus when teaching reading to teach them new words, counting or spelling. Put also a realistic goal. Do not force or too expect him to finish in one session.

2. Alternate with the task

To help keep your child, you should ensure that they receive a combination of learning activities. A brilliant move is to cut-nyelikan with reading, writing, mathematics with more creative activities like drawing activities, singing, arts and crafts activities. If they had just finished spelling the new word list for 20 minutes. change is drawing activity for 20 minutes the next.

The basic principle is the cut-nyelikan activity that can lead the mind to the movement of motor coordination. For example, the first 20 minutes to read, then 20 minutes of the second run.

Children will feel nervous and anxious if left stationary for a while with only one activity. Let them run around and play for a while. You will find that they are more focused on the next activity.

Conclusion:
We can attract children to organize learning activities with their cognitive demands. Divide the activity with a brief time, Insha'Allah effective
